DBHR AMHC SP Video and Access System

Background

The Alton Mental Health Center, part of the State of Illinois, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide combined IT security, server, and platform support services. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security and access control systems at the facility through the implementation of a Video Surveillance System (VSS) and an Electronic Access Control System (ACS). This contract will be effective for a one-year term starting from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Work Details

The vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT security services that include: - Support for the Video Surveillance System (VSS), which involves installation, maintenance, and monitoring of surveillance cameras and related equipment. - Support for the Electronic Access Control System (ACS), which includes managing access points, user credentials, and system integration with existing infrastructure. - Ongoing server support to ensure that all systems are operational and secure. - Regular updates and patches to software as necessary to maintain security standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Alton Mental Health Center located in Alton, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. They must also maintain appropriate insurance coverage including General Commercial Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the State as additionally insured. Additionally, vendors must ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws where applicable.
