Surplus Substation Transformer

Idaho Falls Power is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a surplus substation transformer. The transformer is a Standard Transformer Company model Delta- Wye Dyn1, with a serial number of PJJ-4749. It has a capacity rating of 43800/12470 15/20/25 OA/FA/FA and an impedance of 6.79% at 75 degrees Celsius. The transformer is in good working order when it came out of service and is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Sealed bids must be clearly marked Surplus Substation Transformer Bid and submitted no later than 1:00pm MST, Thursday, July 02, 2026, to Krista Thornton at Idaho Falls Power, 140 S. Capital Ave, Idaho Falls, ID 83402. The transformer will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Idaho Falls Power reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process.
