Scope of Work

The contract involves furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as outlined in the specifications and contract documents for the Water Production Electrical Improvements, FD528 - CC8125 - Project Worktag: 95083. The primary work includes: - Replacement of automation and control systems - Associated electrical improvements at five (5) water production facilities located at: - Anion Exchange Plant (AEP) 1374 E Third St, Pomona, CA 91766 (APN 8326-016-902) - Production Well No. 6 (W-6) 1375 E Third St, Pomona, CA 91766 (APN 8326-016-902) - Booster Station No. 8 (B-8) 1560 Fairplex Dr, Pomona CA 91768 (APN 8360-012-904) - Booster Station No. 12 (B-12) 1 Village Loop Rd, Pomona, CA 91766 (APN 8711-012-902) - Production Well No. 34 (W-34) 1790 E First St, Pomona, CA (APN 8326-027-901)

Background

This project, titled Water Production Electrical Improvements, FD528 - CC8125 - Project Worktag: 95083, is part of the City of Pomona's ongoing efforts to upgrade and improve the electrical and automation systems at its water production facilities.

Contract Requirements

All work under this contract must be completed within 120 working days. The estimated working days per site are: - AEP: 20 days - W-6: 20 days - B-8: 25 days - B-12: 30 days - W-34: 25 days Work shall commence on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed issued by the City Engineer. Note: The City will procure the MCC cabinets for the project through a separate and concurrent IFB titled Water Production Motor Control Centers. Additionally, major system components for the AEP site will be procured as detailed in Appendix C. Please refer to the project plans and specifications for further information.
