Standby Power System Replacement Project

Sealed bids are being accepted by the Beaver County Commissioners for the Standby Power System Replacement Project. The work involves replacing two existing standby power generators and five automatic transfer switches. This includes installing a new concrete generator foundation, connecting to existing wiring, installing generator exhaust and fuel tanks, and removing existing equipment. An alternate bid for replacing the uninterruptible power supply in the IT department will also be considered. Bids will be publicly opened at a Bid Opening Meeting on July 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Bidders must purchase the specifications for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from Ditto Document Solutions. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Board of Commissioners and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of 10% of the bid amount. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and no bid may be withdrawn for 90 days after the scheduled receipt time. Compliance with Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates and other applicable laws is required.
