EMA - GEMS HVAC Maintenance & Repair

Background

The State of Illinois is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and repair services for HVAC systems under the EMA - GEMS contract. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of HVAC systems, which are critical for maintaining comfortable and safe environments in state facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following services: 1. Routine maintenance of HVAC systems, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance. 2. Emergency repairs as needed to address system failures or malfunctions. 3. Replacement of parts and components as necessary, ensuring that all replacements meet state specifications and standards. 4. Compliance with all relevant safety regulations during maintenance and repair activities.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the effective date, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various state facilities located throughout Illinois as designated by the State.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the following requirements: 1. Vendors must be registered with the State of Illinois procurement system. 2. Vendors must provide proof of insurance coverage, including General Commercial Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. 3. Vendors must adhere to prevailing wage laws applicable to the services provided under this contract.
