Public Safety Uniforms Annual Contract for the Clayton County Police Department

Background

The Clayton County Board of Commissioners intends to enter into a contract for Public Safety Uniforms for the Clayton County Police Department in Clayton County, Georgia. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary uniforms on an as-needed basis or as specified in the Scope of Work.

Work Details

The Bidder shall provide Public Safety Uniforms for the Clayton County Police Department as specified in this ITB and Attachment A, Scope of Services. The Bidder must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in providing these uniforms. The services will include the provision of uniforms that meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation documents. The contract may involve multiple awards based on lowest cost responsive bids or best value to the County.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract shall be for one (1) year, with options for automatic renewal for four (4) successive one (1) year terms, unless terminated earlier as per contract provisions.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within Clayton County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit documentation demonstrating they are authorized to conduct business in Georgia, including a valid business license and any required professional licenses. Bidders must also comply with bonding and insurance requirements as outlined in Appendix B. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBEs) where possible, although there is no specific SLBE subcontracting goal for this project.
