Background

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase of a Fiber Laser Marking Station System, which includes: 1. A fully enclosed, industrial-grade fiber laser marking machine with a laser power output of approximately 50 watts. 2. Capabilities for permanent marking, etching, and light engraving on materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, precious metals, and selected non-metallic materials. 3. Features including interchangeable F-theta lenses for varying work areas (standard 110 mm x 110 mm; optional 200 mm x 200 mm), adjustable focal lengths, and a rigid internal fixture plate. 4. An integrated computer system with professional laser control software included. 5. Accessories such as rotary fixtures for cylindrical parts and rubber roller fixtures for irregular shapes are also part of the procurement. 6. Installation services to ensure operational readiness upon delivery are required.

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed upon award with an expected delivery timeframe after receipt of order (ARO) specified by the vendor.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific requirements including: - Submission of a completed Commitment to DBE Participation prior to bid opening if DBE goals are established. - Compliance with FTA requirements as this contract utilizes FTA funds. - Bidders must provide itemized parts lists and specification sheets showing components included with products. - All bids must include transportation/delivery charges in the quoted price; surcharges will not be accepted.
