Replacement of Security Fence and Gates at Mainten

Summary: Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the Replacement of Security Fence and Gates at the Maintenance/Law Enforcement Compound located in the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The goal of this contract is to enhance security by replacing the existing security fence and barbed wire with a taller, more secure fence around the compound. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Removal of the existing security fence and barbed wire. 2. Installation of a new, taller security fence that meets specified safety and security standards. 3. Ensuring that all work complies with applicable regulations and standards as outlined in the Statement of Work (Attachment 0002). The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to complete the project as per the contract documents. Period of Performance The contractor must begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 90 calendar days. Place of Performance Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds on Standard Forms 25 and 25A based on total contract amounts. The project magnitude is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
