Aircraft Computer Mainenance Mangement Systems - The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the United States Forest Service (USFS) aircraft fleet. This product shall be a Configurable Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software and currently in aviation industry use and can be configured to support the USFS aircraft fleet.

This solicitation seeks to procure a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support the maintenance and logistics of this aircraft fleet, replacing an expired legacy system that was limited to parts tracking. Work Details The CMMS will provide comprehensive maintenance tracking and logistical support for USFS aircraft, parts, and tooling. Key requirements include: 1. Aircraft Maintenance Management: Up-to-date status logistics, work order management, reporting capabilities, labor tracking, training records, performance data tracking, integration of technical directives. 2. Supply Management: Tracking of maintenance parts and operational supplies with QR coding capabilities. 3. Traceability: Tracking changes to part numbers and warranties. 4. Technical Information Management: Compatibility with various data formats (Excel, Word, PDF), data migration from legacy systems, backup capabilities. 5. User Support: Ongoing user support for access issues and system functionality. 6. Operations Management: Tracking flight usage metrics such as hours and cycles. 7. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period of performance lasting 12 months from the date of award with options for four additional years. Place of Performance The services will be performed at multiple facilities supporting the USFS aircraft fleet. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate extensive experience with CMMS systems specifically tailored for large fleets of commercial transport category aircraft. Additionally, bidders must comply with security requirements including hosting in a FedRAMP certified environment if proprietary software is used.
