Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 4 at the H.J. Heinz VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking to procure a STEMCELL Technologies STEMprep instrument. Work Details The contractor must provide an automated tissue processor capable of generating single-cell suspensions from various tissues including lung, brain, heart, colon, kidney, spleen, and liver. The instrument must maintain sample temperatures between 37°C and 4°C to ensure high cell viability post-processing. It should be able to process a minimum of 12 samples simultaneously and be expandable to at least 16 samples. Additionally, the vendor must be an authorized reseller for STEMCELL Technologies products.
