Commercial Sexual Exploitation Of Children (CSEC) Response Team Services

Background

The County of San Diego, through its Department of Child and Family Well-Being, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Response Team Services. The goal of this contract is to address the needs of children affected by commercial sexual exploitation and to provide a coordinated response to this critical issue. The County aims to enhance its capacity to support these vulnerable populations through effective service delivery.

Work Details

The contract will involve the following services: 1. Establishing a CSEC Response Team that will provide immediate support and resources for children affected by commercial sexual exploitation. 2. Developing a comprehensive program that includes outreach, assessment, case management, and referral services. 3. Collaborating with community partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. 4. Implementing data collection methods to measure program effectiveness and outcomes. 5. Providing training for staff on trauma-informed care and cultural competency in working with affected populations.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term is anticipated to be one (1) year and six (6) months, with four (4) additional one (1) year options available for renewal.

Place of Performance

Services will be provided throughout San Diego County, with specific attention to areas where the target population resides.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must demonstrate relevant experience in providing similar services, including knowledge of the target population's cultural and linguistic needs. Additionally, Offerors are encouraged to submit a Small-Local Business Subcontractor Utilization Plan that meets or exceeds a 3% participation requirement.
