The City of Broussard is seeking sealed bids for the FY 2025-2026 Street Improvements - Phase 2 project. The scope of work includes: - 21,435 linear feet of joint and crack cleaning and sealing - 29,741 square yards of double application textured bituminous surface treatment - 64,517 square yards of single application textured bituminous surface treatment - 35,662 square yards of asphalt rejuvenator surface treatment - Associated thermoplastic pavement marking within the City of Broussard

Background

The City of Broussard is undertaking Phase 2 of its FY 2025-2026 Street Improvements to enhance roadway surfaces and markings within the city limits.

Contract Requirements

The project must be completed within 90 calendar days, exclusive of delays beyond the Contractor's control, starting from the date stipulated in the written Notice to Proceed.

Instructions on Submission

Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, Conference Room, 406 East Madison Street, Broussard, Louisiana 70518, until 10:00 a.m., on July 15, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the specified time.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 2, 2026, at the City of Broussard City Staff Training Facility, 106 Mayor Charles Langlinais (Formally 106 Bercegeay Road), Broussard, LA 70518. All prospective bidders must be present at the beginning of the conference and remain for its duration. Failure to attend or remain for the entire conference will result in disqualification from bidding on the project.
