Background

The Capital District Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO) of the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking to procure the installation of a vinyl fence at 7 Stewart Drive, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846. This project is part of their discretionary purchasing authority and aims to enhance the security and privacy of the facility.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for installing approximately 285 linear feet of a 6’ high vinyl privacy fence. The scope includes: - Surveying the property and placing pins before starting work. - Clearing vegetation and leveling soil along the proposed fence line. - Installing new vinyl fence panels with a 7” top and bottom rail, using 4x4 pressure-treated posts cemented into the ground. - Reinforcing each post to at least 22” above ground with either an aluminum insert or concrete. - Installing a 4’ wide by 6’ tall lockable vinyl gate on one side and an 8’ double gate on the other side, with all hardware in black. - Ensuring that all materials meet New York State codes and standards, including using heavy-duty panels capable of withstanding winds up to 100 mph. All work must be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order. Certified payroll records must be maintained in compliance with prevailing wage laws.
