Background
The City of Burlington, through its Department of Public Works, Water Resources Division, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction services for the stabilization of a stormwater outlet off Mount View Court in Burlington, Vermont. The project aims to address ongoing slope erosion caused by a deteriorating vitrified clay outlet pipe that has multiple broken sections and has lost approximately 100 cubic yards of material due to erosion. The work is necessary to ensure slope stability, pipe integrity, and downstream water quality.

This includes mobilization, demobilization, insurance, overhead, profit, storage, delivery, taxes, installation, documentation record keeping, invoicing, and project management. The base bid scope includes extending and rebedding the existing outlet pipe an additional 37 feet beyond its current terminus and completing all associated erosion control measures. An alternative bid may include repair to a second stormwater outlet off Crescent Road requiring similar work.
