Background

The Texas State University System (TSUS) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for the selection of Surveyor(s) to provide Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Land Surveying services. These services will support the planning, design, renovation, and construction of facilities for TSUS and its Member Institutions throughout Texas. The selected Surveyor will be required to perform these services on an as-needed basis, providing all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies under written Task Orders issued by TSUS or its Institutions.

Work Details

The professional land surveying services include but are not limited to: 1. Land (Boundary) Surveys: - Show boundary lines with lengths and bearings. - Furnish legal descriptions conforming to record title boundaries. - State area in square feet or acres as applicable. - Note identity and jurisdiction of adjoining streets and highways. - Plot locations of structures on the property with dimensions. - Show encroachments and easements. 2. Topographic Surveys: - Establish benchmarks tied to current FEMA datum. - Provide contours at one-foot intervals. - Show spot elevations at defined intervals across the property. - Indicate locations of utilities and flood plains. 3. Other Typical Surveys:

ALTA/ACMS Land Title Surveys

- GIS mapping

Foundation Surveys

- As-built surveys - Subsurface Utility Engineering.

Period of Performance

The contract will have a 3-year initial term with an option for two additional 1-year extensions.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed throughout Texas at various locations designated by TSUS or its Member Institutions.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must be duly licensed or registered by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as per Section 1071.002 of the Texas Occupations Code. Additionally, a VetHUB Subcontracting Plan is required as part of the qualifications submission.
