Building Modifications for 30th & A Substation

Background

Lincoln Electric System (LES) is seeking bids for building modifications at the 30th & A substation in accordance with LES Specifications S-26-11. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure of the substation to better serve its mission of providing reliable electric service to the community.

Work Details

The successful bidder will be required to furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, tools, and other equipment necessary to perform the work specified herein. This includes completing the LES Standard Construction Contract and providing proof of insurance with coverage specified in the contract. The contractor must also furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska. Additionally, a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form must be returned. The work will include modifications as detailed in the specifications provided by LES.

Period of Performance

The contract's period of performance will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by a date specified in the bid submission.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the 30th & A substation located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of insurance from an insurance company licensed in Nebraska with a minimum rating of B+ by A.M. Best. They must also submit a performance bond from a surety meeting similar requirements. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to fair employment practices.
