Hiv Test Kits

Background

The City of Austin is seeking bids to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to provide an annual supply of one-time use, rapid Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Type 1 and Type 2 test kits for the Austin Public Health Program. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of these essential health testing supplies to support public health initiatives.

Work Details

The contractor will supply the following items: 1. Abbott Determine HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab Combo Test (manufacturer number 7D2648) - Estimated Annual Quantity: 375 EACH 2. Abbott Determine HIV ½ Ag/Ab Combo Controls (manufacturer number 7D2628) - Estimated Annual Quantity: 79 EACH. All prices must be inclusive of any fees, and the contractor is responsible for providing all necessary tools, labor, travel, and equipment to deliver the services and items to Austin, Texas.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed on an annual basis, with quantities ordered as needed throughout the year.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the City of Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must submit pricing using the provided Pricing Submittal Sheet. Altering this sheet or taking exceptions may jeopardize acceptance of the offer. A bid of '0' will be considered a no-charge item, while a 'no bid' response may result in disqualification. Prices must be all-inclusive and should not include separate charges for administrative or transportation costs.
