BARC Roof Recovery Applications

Background

BARC Developmental Services, located at 4950 York Road, Holicong, PA 18928, is seeking sealed bids for the project titled 'BARC Roof Recovery Applications'. The project aims to install a new mechanically attached TPO roof system on the cafeteria/office and upper roof of the BARC Developmental Services building located at 349 Ivyland Road, Warminster, PA. This project is funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.

Work Details

The work includes the installation of a new mechanically attached TPO roofing system on specified areas of the BARC Developmental Services building. The contractor must comply with federal prevailing wage laws and ensure that all employees are treated without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The successful bidder will also need to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price and proof of insurance as required by the contract documents.

They must also provide an Agreement of Surety certifying that required Performance and Payment will be provided upon awarding of the bid. Additionally, bidders must comply with CDBG requirements including adherence to federal laws such as Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Davis-Bacon Act.
