Mini Gym: Storage & Work Out Facility (Sole Source Proprietary)

Background

The Texas Military Department at Challenge Academy is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply, deliver, install, and set up a miniature gym storage and workout facility. The goal of this contract is to enhance the fitness capabilities available at the facility located at 600 FM 3013 West, Building 1, Eagle Lake, TX 77434.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide, deliver, and install one (1) Tricon container equivalent or better with the following specifications: - Five (5) each plate storage (Alpha/Bravo) - One (1) each push pop storage (Alpha/Bravo) - One (1) each barbell and hex bar storage (Alpha/Bravo) - One (1) each three-shelf storage (Bravo) - One (1) each exterior rig storage (Alpha) - Three (3) sets J-Cup - Two (2) each dip bars - Two (2) each Landmine - Two (2) each battling ropes and hooks - Various medicine balls, bumper plates, kettlebells, Olympic bars, sandbags, adjustable benches, jump ropes, drag sleds, and other fitness equipment as detailed in the specifications. The contractor must ensure all items are new and meet applicable safety standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon the effective date stated in the notice of award or purchase order. The contractor must provide a timeline for completion from the notice of award to substantial completion.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Texas Challenge Academy located at 600 FM 3013 West, Building 1, Eagle Lake, TX 77434.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must demonstrate compliance with insurance requirements including Workers’ Compensation and General Liability coverage. The contractor must provide proof of insurance within five business days of notice of award. Additionally, all responses must comply with Texas Government Code § 2155.067 regarding sole source or proprietary items.
