Application Services

Background

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking to solicit responses from interested vendors to provide Application Services. The goal of this contract is to enhance the IT services ecosystem within TxDOT, which includes various IT functions and services such as application services, managed network services, infrastructure services, service desk services, and information security services. The governance model established by TxDOT aims to facilitate effective communication and decision-making in the management of these IT services.

Work Details

The vendor will be responsible for supporting the ITD governance model which includes: 1. Establishing working relationships for efficient communication and issue resolution. 2. Supporting the implementation of a decision-making model that promotes authority and accountability. 3. Resolving issues at the lowest organizational level possible. 4. Formalizing roles and responsibilities regarding contract and issue management among other vendors and TxDOT. The vendor must also engage in governance committees and solution groups to address operational issues, provide timely data for issue resolution, and facilitate the use of the issue management process.

Additionally, vendors must not have any conflicts of interest or previous violations related to federal laws concerning contracts awarded for disaster relief efforts.
