Beltrami Island State Forest Cyphers Bridge Replacement

Work Requested

The contract involves the following key tasks for the Beltrami Island State Forest Cyphers Bridge Replacement project: - Demolition and removal of the existing timber bridge. - Excavation of 680 cubic yards (cy). - Furnishing and installation of 344 cy of Select Granular material. - Construction of new concrete abutments (38 cy) and footings (46 cy). - Furnishing and installation of 240 linear feet (LF) of cast-in-place (CIP) piling. - Furnishing and installation of a new 60' x 20' multi steel beam bridge.

This solicitation is issued by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Background

This project is subject to Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), and Veteran-Owned (VO) business preferences. A subcontracting goal of 3% (TG/ED/VO) has been established for this contract.

Contract Requirements

All work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
