Right of Way Turf Conversion ( CIP 26-10)

Summary

The City of Menifee is seeking contractors to perform the conversion of several landscape medians to drought-tolerant landscapes. The scope of work includes: - Grading of existing medians - Installation of decomposed granite - Placement of cobble - Installation of steel art This project will take place at multiple locations throughout the City of Menifee, specifically:

Site 1

La Ladera Road (Between Normandy Road and Honeyrun Road)

Site 2

Evans Road (Between Newport Road and La Piedra Road)

Site 3

Evans Road (North of Corson Avenue, South of Holland Road)

Site 4

Little Reb Place and Bellamy Lane (South of Scott Road)

Requesting Agency

The City of Menifee (referred to as the Agency) is inviting sealed bids for this project.

Background

This contract is part of the City's efforts to improve water conservation and sustainability by converting traditional landscape medians into drought-tolerant landscapes.

Contract Requirements

Bids must be submitted electronically through the City of Menifee's PlanetBids bidding portal at: https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=41576. All electronic bids must include required attachments such as the bid bond, subcontractor list, and any other necessary documents. Additionally, a hard copy of the entire bid package, including all original notarized documents, must be received within 48 hours of the electronic submittal deadline to be considered responsive. If using Federal Express or a similar service, the contents of the bid submittal must be clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. All bids must be written clearly and legibly in ink, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Instructions on Submission

Bids must be submitted electronically via the PlanetBids portal no later than 2 p.m. on July 14, 2026. After electronic submission, a hard copy of the bid package must be delivered to the Agency's front desk in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as specified in the instructions.
