Downtown Ambassador Program

Background

The City of Little Rock is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Downtown Ambassador Program. The goal of this program is to enhance the downtown area by providing services that promote safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. The City aims to engage businesses authorized in the State of Arkansas that can deliver the required services outlined in this solicitation.

Work Details

The selected contractor will be responsible for providing ambassador services in downtown Little Rock. This includes but is not limited to: 1) Assisting visitors with directions and information about local attractions; 2) Monitoring the cleanliness and safety of public spaces; 3) Engaging with local businesses and residents to foster community relations; 4) Reporting any issues or concerns to city officials; 5) Conducting outreach programs to promote events and activities in downtown Little Rock.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of one year, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid business license from the City of Little Rock or an equivalent license from another Arkansas city. Additionally, minority-owned and women-owned business partnerships are encouraged as part of this proposal.
