Tw King Pump Station Pump Improvements

Background

The City of Southlake is issuing a solicitation for proposals for the construction of the TW King Pump Station Pump Improvements project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the pump station's capabilities and ensure reliable operation.

Work Details

The project includes the following tasks: 1) Purchase and installation of one standby diesel generator; 2) Removal of three existing vertical turbine pumps and drives; 3) Removal of four existing pump cans; 4) Installation of four new pump cans and drives; 5) Installation of all required conduit to integrate the diesel standby generator; 6) Modification of the existing RTU cabinet and installation of new IO cards. The contractor will be selected based on offering the best value to the City.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be performed starting from the award date, with proposals due by July 24th, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the TW King Pump Station located in Southlake, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond as a guarantee for entering into a contract within ten days of notice of award. The security must be five percent (5%) of the proposal submitted. Contractors must pay no less than prevailing wage rates established by the Owner and included in contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
