The Cuyahoga County Department of Development is seeking a Certified Environmental Professional to assist with USEPA-funded brownfield redevelopment projects. The goal of this contract is to provide oversight and quality assurance for asbestos remediation work associated with two upcoming projects.

Work Details

The vendor will prepare a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) for field personnel, review project designs, conduct on-site meetings, notify the client of deficiencies, conduct unannounced site visits during abatement, and perform final inspections post-abatement. A letter report documenting findings and recommendations must be submitted within five business days after the final inspection. The vendor must also identify their project management structure and ensure all staff are Certified Professionals under Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program (VAP).

Period of Performance

The anticipated work schedule for the two brownfield projects is expected to begin in calendar year 2026, lasting approximately 4-6 months each, potentially concurrently or at different times.
