Hvac Maintenance - Lpd Buildings

Background

The Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government is seeking quotes for preventative maintenance services for the HVAC systems at the Lafayette Police Department. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and longevity of these systems, which are critical for maintaining a comfortable environment in police facilities. The contract will be for one year with an option to renew for an additional year.

Work Details

The contractor will provide preventative maintenance on multiple HVAC units, including: 1. Three (3) Trane RTA 100 Rooftop Air Cooled Chillers and four (4) chill water pumps, requiring quarterly inspections and an annual inspection that includes oil analysis, verification of operational controls, cleaning condenser coils, leak detection, and more. 2. Six (6) air handlers, consisting of three (3) Trane air handlers in Building A and three (3) Carrier air handlers in Building B. These will undergo quarterly and annual inspections involving cleaning evaporator coils and verifying electrical connections. 3. Two (2) air compressors and two (2) air driers requiring similar inspection protocols. 4. One (1) boiler that will need annual inspections focusing on safety controls and burner cleaning.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon issuance of a notice to proceed or purchase order and is expected to last for one year with an option to renew for an additional year.

Place of Performance

All work will be performed at the Lafayette Police Department located at 900 E. University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70503.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a certificate of insurance with specified coverage limits including General Liability ($1,000,000), Auto Liability ($1,000,000), and Workers' Compensation ($1,000,000). They must also list Lafayette Consolidated Government as Additional Insured. Technicians performing maintenance must be certified for the specified equipment.
