Background

The Lafayette Police Department is seeking proposals from qualified audio-visual and LED display integrators for the design, engineering, furnishing, installation, and commissioning of a new LED Video Wall System. This initiative aims to provide a professional-grade display solution with advanced software capabilities, robust support services, and long-term reliability. The specifications have been developed around the performance and serviceability of the VUE Wall 1.5mm LED display platform to ensure durability and service-focused outcomes.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following: - Design, engineering, furnishing, installation, and commissioning of an LED Video Wall System. - The system must include:

500mm x 500mm with die-cast aluminum frame - Fully front serviceable with modular component replacement capabilities (power supplies, IC chips, PCB boards, LED pixels, masks, receiving cards) - Required spare parts: at least 10% of all components inside cabinets. - Certifications required include UL, EMC, CE, ROHS, CCC, FCC, ISO. - Total Video Display Size must be approximately 9’10” x 6’7”. - Installation flexibility to allow future reconfiguration. - A Novastar TU-Series Processor (TU20Pro or better) is required for compatibility with VNNOX remote servicing. The system must support cloud management for off-site emergency technical support and remote diagnostics.

Period of Performance

The work must be completed according to the attached specifications by July 13, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a certificate of insurance that includes General Liability ($1 million), Auto Liability ($1 million), and Workers' Compensation ($1 million) with Lafayette Consolidated Government listed as Additional Insured. A waiver of subrogation is also required on the Workers' Compensation policy.
