Background

Contract Requirements

The Consultant's Resident Engineer must be a licensed Professional Civil Engineer registered in the State of California. The individual should possess strong general civil engineering construction skills, have a depth of resources, demonstrate knowledge of Caltrans Local Assistance requirements, and show sensitivity to local and regulatory issues. For the purposes of this contract, Consultant refers to the team providing construction engineering services, while Contractor refers to the firm awarded the construction work.
