The Weslaco Independent School District (WISD) is seeking qualifications from firms to serve as a servicing broker for Employee Voluntary Insurance Products. Work Details

The selected broker will be responsible for: 1. Managing voluntary insurance policies, including but not limited to life, disability, and accident insurance. 2. Assisting in claims processing and providing support to employees during the claims process. 3. Offering risk mitigation strategies and advice on policy management. 4. Conducting regular reviews of insurance offerings to ensure they meet the needs of employees while minimizing costs. 5. Providing educational resources and communication strategies to inform employees about their benefits.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a period of one year, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed primarily at the Weslaco Independent School District facilities located in Weslaco, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) License and demonstrate experience in providing insurance brokerage services specifically for voluntary insurance products within Texas school districts. Additionally, bidders are required to submit various documentation including a Statement of Qualifications, a list of clients served in the last five years, team personnel details, and compliance forms as outlined in the solicitation.
