Lead Service Line Replacement

The City of Geneva is undertaking a project to replace lead and galvanized water service lines on East State Street (Route 38). Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for replacing lead and galvanized water service lines along East State Street. The work includes: - Private Side Complete Service Replacement (B-Box to Meter) for lengths less than 50 feet (10 units) - Private Side Complete Service Replacement (B-Box to Meter) for lengths greater than 50 feet (10 units) - Installation of 20 interior ball valves. All work must comply with the prevailing wage laws as determined by the Department of Labor.

The contract work is expected to commence within ten calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued, with specific completion dates outlined in the contract documents.
