PSP BESO Rifle and Pistol Conversion Kits

Background

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations (BESO) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure conversion kits for M4 rifles and Walther PDP pistols, along with related protective equipment. The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the PSP by providing necessary equipment that meets specific standards.

Work Details

The contract involves the procurement of the following items: - 16 units of SIMUNITION, General Dynamics Bolt 5.66mm M4/AR 15 without Sporter Block - 32 units of SIMUNITION, General Dynamics Walther PDP Conversion Kit - 48 units of SIMUNITION, General Dynamics FX 9004 Helmet Head Protector - 48 units of SIMUNITION, General Dynamics FX 9000 Protective Throat Cover. Additionally, if the bidder is not the original manufacturer, a Manufacturers Authorization Letter must be submitted confirming authorization to provide OEM equipment and services.

Period of Performance

The awarded vendor must deliver all items within 60 days after receipt of the purchase order.

Place of Performance

Items will be delivered to the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations, Attn: Sergeant Michael Lang, 171 East Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered in the Commonwealth's Vendor Master file to submit a bid. They are required to complete and submit forms including the Reciprocal Limitations Requirements Act form (GSPUR-89) and Worker Protection and Investment form (BOP-2201). Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not on the current list of persons engaged in investment activities in Iran.
