Work Requested

The School Board of Osceola County, FL is seeking bids for the purchase, repair, and service of grounds maintenance equipment. The equipment includes gasoline and diesel-powered devices that are hand-held, hand-pushed, or self-propelled. The types of equipment covered under this solicitation include, but are not limited to: - Lawn mowers (riding, walk-behind, and/or push) - Edgers - Trimmers - Hedge trimmers - Blowers - Vacuums - Chipper-shredders This contract is intended to cover all items generally used by the School Board to perform grounds maintenance. Pricing for these items will be based on either a percentage discount off the list price or a cost plus a percentage mark-up. Bidders should refer to the manufacturers listed on the Price Sheet and indicate if the specified units are offered.

This specification establishes the minimum requirements for the solicitation as listed and described in the specifications. The equipment and services will be used as noted by The School Board of Osceola County, FL for grounds maintenance purposes.

Contract Requirements

- Upon request, the awarded bidder must provide literature related to the product offered, such as user manuals, price schedules, catalogs, descriptive brochures, etc. - All manufactured items and fabricated assemblies that are subject to operation under pressure, require connection to an electrical source, or involve connection to a manufactured, natural, or LP gas source must be constructed and approved in a manner acceptable to the appropriate State Inspector. At a minimum, this requires identification marking of the appropriate safety standard organization, where such approvals or listings have been established.

Bidders must indicate on the Price Sheet if the units from the listed manufacturers are offered. Additional product literature should be available upon request.
