Background

The District School Board of Pasco County is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB # 26-053-KD) to establish a three-year contract with one or multiple vendors for the supply of fencing materials on an as-needed basis. The goal is to ensure that the District has access to high-quality fencing materials for various projects, supporting its mission to provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Work Details

The contract will include various fencing materials, components, and related hardware such as chain-link fencing, posts, rails, gates, fittings, tension components, pipe, and accessories. All items must be new, unused, and of commercial-grade quality suitable for institutional or industrial applications. Specific line items include: - Brace Bands (various sizes) - Tension Bands (various sizes) - Tension Bars (galvanized) - Dome Caps (various sizes) - Chain-Link Fencing (various heights and coatings)

The estimated annual usage is approximately $320,000; however, actual quantities may vary based on the District's needs.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract is three years from the date of Board approval. There is an option to renew for an additional period not exceeding the initial contract term plus up to six months beyond the expiration date if mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the District School Board of Pasco County’s Facilities and Maintenance Services Building located at 11835 Treebreeze Dr., New Port Richey, FL 34654.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of insurance coverage as required by the District's standards. Additionally, vendors must comply with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding labor practices. They must submit various forms including a completed Pasco School's Substitute W-9 form and a Conflict of Interest form if applicable. Vendors are also required to certify compliance with drug-free workplace policies.
