Background

The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (CTSI) is seeking qualified contractors for a critical infrastructure project at the Tribal Transportation Facility located at 815 Logsden Rd, Siletz, OR 97380. This project aims to enhance transportation operations, emergency response capabilities, and public works staging while adhering to high standards of durability, safety, and resilience.

Work Details

The project encompasses repaving, grading, drainage improvements, and security fencing over approximately 135,000 square feet of transportation yard area. Specific tasks include: 1. Site Preparation: Clearing and grubbing, removal of unsuitable materials, subgrade proof-rolling and stabilization. 2. Grading & Base Preparation: Fine grading to engineered elevations, installation of compacted aggregate base, subgrade compaction and stabilization. 3. Drainage Improvements: Installation of catch basins, culverts, French drains as needed; stormwater piping systems; ditch shaping and erosion control; tie-in to existing drainage infrastructure. 4. Paving: Heavy-duty asphalt paving for fleet use including striping for circulation and parking; compaction testing and quality assurance. 5. Ancillary Improvements: Access points to existing roadways, shoulder stabilization, dust control during construction, site cleanup and restoration. 6. Security Fencing: Installation of secure fencing and gates.

Period of Performance

Construction is scheduled to start on August 17th, 2026 with substantial completion expected by October 31st, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate experience with large-scale paving projects (50,000+ sq ft) and drainage/stormwater systems.
