Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure three fully operational Ophthalmic Procedure/Exam Chairs for use in the Eye Clinic at the El Paso VA Health Care System (EPVAHCS). The goal of this contract is to enhance ophthalmology and optometry services by improving patient positioning and diagnostic workflow efficiency. Work Details The contractor shall provide three fully operational Ophthalmic Procedure/Exam Chairs that meet the following specifications: - **Common Nomenclature**: Ophthalmic Procedure/Exam Chair - **Material**: High-density foam upholstery covered with durable, hand-sewn vinyl; heavy-duty hydraulic base; fire-retardant materials; removable cushions for cleaning. - **Electrical Data**: 120 Volts AC, 50/60 Hz, 9.0 Amperes. - **Dimensions**: Base Width: 24.5 inches; Height Range: 24.75 to 35.375 inches; Depth: 41 inches upright, 57 inches reclined; Seat: 20 inches wide by 15 inches deep. - **Operation Principles**: Powered hydraulic system with dual-side controls, corded foot switch, memory programming, auto-return button, rotation lock, safety lockout, and wheelchair accessibility. - **Delivery Requirements**: Chairs must be delivered fully assembled or partially assembled with instructions to the VA Warehouse at 6 Founders Blvd, Suite B, El Paso, TX 79930.
