Background The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is responsible for providing force protection, security, first responder, and law enforcement operations for the Pentagon Reservation and DoD-occupied facilities in the National Capital Region (NCR). This contract aims to fulfill PFPA's mission by providing contracted security personnel to protect its facilities and assets. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, training, licenses, certifications, equipment, vehicles, and supplies necessary for armed and unarmed Contract Security Officer (CSO) Support services. Key tasks include: 1. Providing a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity. 2. Operating Entry Control Points (ECPs) to prevent unauthorized access. 3. Conducting interior and exterior patrols of designated facilities. 4. Safeguarding Government property including classified information. 5. Responding as the on-scene first responder to emergencies. 6. Establishing a Quality Control Plan and Safety Program to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Period of Performance The initial task order will be for a 5-year contract with one base year and four 12-month option years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various Government-owned or leased facilities throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), including locations in Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the following requirements: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSBC); possess necessary security clearances; have relevant licenses and certifications; ensure key personnel meet qualifications; provide a subcontracting plan if applicable; demonstrate mandatory experience thresholds.
