Background The 433rd Airlift Wing, part of the United States Air Force, is seeking a contractor to provide Commercial Lodging (CL) accommodations for reserve personnel and other individuals participating in or supporting various training activities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that personnel have access to suitable lodging during their training sessions, which may occur any day of the week. The preferred lodging facility must be located within 15 miles of Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland and must have a current Memorandum of Understanding with JBSA-Lackland Lodging. Work Details The contractor shall provide Commercial Lodging (CL) accommodations for up to 50 double occupancy rooms and 25 single occupancy rooms per Unit Training Assembly (UTA). Rooms must meet specific requirements: they should be cooled by refrigerated air conditioning, heated with individual temperature controls, clean, free from pests and allergens, well-ventilated with at least one window, and include a private bath. Each room must contain a minimum of one 20-inch color television, dresser space with at least two drawers per occupant, and an alarm clock. Double rooms should have two full-sized beds while single rooms should have one queen-sized bed. All rooms are required to be non-smoking. Daily maid service is mandatory, including replenishing towels and cleaning bathrooms. Room rates will be established based on a mutually agreed price list and will be tax-free for direct billed charges. The contractor must ensure 24-hour check-in/check-out services and guarantee late arrivals. Check-in times should not be later than 3:00 PM, while check-out must occur by 11:00 AM at the latest.
