Commercial Electrician Services

Summary: Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for Commercial Electrician Services for the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary electrical services at various facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, travel, expertise, supervision, and testing necessary to install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures. Specific tasks include: - Routine service calls estimated at 32 hours per month (8 hours per week). - Emergency service calls estimated at 8 hours per month (2 hours per week). - Work will be performed at four locations: Bldg. 30 (Ambulatory Care Clinic), Bldg. 32 (Parking Structure), Bldg. 110A (Community Living Center), and Bldg. T1 (E-Wing). - The contractor must coordinate with Government personnel and may need to assist them or work independently as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). - The contractor will also handle high-voltage systems work related to generator backup power systems during outages. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029, including a base period and two option periods. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various locations within the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System. Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the following requirements: - Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). - Must possess relevant contractor or trade licenses. - Required bonding and insurance as specified in the solicitation. - Ability to obtain security clearances as necessary for facility access.
