Scope of Work

The contract involves comprehensive roadway resurfacing and safety improvements along West Highway 4. The required work includes: - Base repair of the existing roadway - Milling of the current pavement - Installation of a 2 FDOT SP 12.5 76-22 asphalt overlay - Temporary striping at the end of each production day - Thermoplastic striping to be applied 14 days after paving operations are completed - Restoration of the Right of Way, including placement of appropriate fill material and grading to ensure proper water runoff from the asphalt - Sodding and all other incidental work associated with roadway resurfacing - Upgrading existing guardrails and installing new guardrail sections as proposed

Background
