Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (VASTHCS), is conducting market research to expand the inventory of Bair Paws units and accessories to support patient care across VA medical centers. The goal of this procurement is to ensure that newly procured warming units integrate seamlessly with existing workflows and support both preoperative and postoperative use as required by clinical teams. Work Details The Contractor will supply additional 3M Bair Paws Warming Units and associated accessories. The requirement includes: - Model 87500 (Patient Warming Devices, 120V-ENG-B) - Quantity: 22 - Wall Mount, Model 875 (90080) - Wall Rail Mount Adapter (90074) - Bedrail Mount (90079) - IV Pole Mount (90076) Technical requirements include: - FDA-cleared forced-air warming devices with adjustable temperature settings and over-temperature protection mechanisms. - Each unit must include standard accessories: power cord, air hose, hose covers, required filters, and at least one set of disposable gowns per unit. - Units should be compact, mobile (cart or wall-mountable), suitable for use in Pre-Op, OR, PACU, and other relevant areas. - Wall mounts must be specifically designed for installation with 3M Bair Paws warming units and constructed of durable materials capable of supporting at least 20 lbs.
