Background The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) is an industrial complex dedicated to maintaining, modernizing, and retiring the Navy fleet. It is the largest naval shore facility in the Pacific Northwest and one of Washington State's largest industrial installations. Due to the age of PSNS, many buildings lack proper climate control and require upgrades to their HVAC systems. The goal of this contract is to lease portable air conditioning units to provide immediate cooling solutions until permanent upgrades can be completed. Work Details The contractor shall provide leasing services for one (1) 5-ton portable AC unit and four (4) 12-ton portable AC units. This includes all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required for operational leasing. The contractor must ensure compliance with all requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services include leasing, transportation of units, and replacement of any unit that fails during the lease period. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance The work will be performed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility located at 1400 Farragut Ave, Bremerton, WA. Bidder Requirements This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Additionally, contractors must maintain an adequate workforce for uninterrupted performance of tasks as defined in the PWS.
