Summary (Newest Update)

Background The INDIG Village Demolition project is initiated due to the existing structures within INDIG Village having surpassed their operational lifespan. The goal is to ensure safety and training standards are upheld by systematically replacing these structures in incremental phases. This approach allows for uninterrupted training delivery, which is essential for TEU2's mission objectives. Comprehensive site preparation, including the removal of existing infrastructure and grading, is required before the construction of new target buildings can commence. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, heavy equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks: 1. Conduct a joint site walk with government representatives to identify 23 buildings and 6 wall sections for demolition. 2. If using a crane, submit a crane package for approval. 3. Systematically demolish twenty-three training buildings made of wood down to ground level. 4. Demolish and remove six wall sections enclosing sub-compounds. 5. Extract all foundation elements, footings, and anchoring systems associated with demolished structures. 6. Load and transport all demolition debris off-site. 7. Ensure no debris remains on-site that could impede grading operations. 8. Execute comprehensive grading of the entire designated area after debris removal. 9. Level the site to resolve depressions and establish proper drainage gradients to prevent water pooling. 10. Prepare and compact the soil sub-base across the cleared area for future construction of new facilities.
