Background The project is initiated by the 174th Attack Wing of the New York Air National Guard, located at Hancock Field ANG Base. The goal of the contract is to repair and ensure the functionality of a small arms range bullet trap that meets or exceeds the standards set by the manufacturer and the Department of Defense (DoD). This solicitation is a total small business set-aside, emphasizing support for small businesses in government contracting. Work Details The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, costs, and other necessary items and services to complete the work. The main tasks include: 1. Repairing and cleaning the small arms range bullet trap to ensure it meets or exceeds DoD standards. 2. Option 1 involves hazardous determination which includes collecting waste in UN-DOT containers and coordinating pickup, transportation, and disposal of project-derived wastes. 3. Option 2 involves installing a lead encapsulation product as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). A site visit is scheduled for June 2, 2026, where attendees must confirm their participation via email by noon on June 1, 2026. Bids must remain valid for at least 90 days.
