Repair & Maintain Airfield Stormwater System Phase II

Summary: Background The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Air Force Reserve Command's 94th Contracting Flight, is issuing a requirement to Repair & Maintain the Airfield Stormwater System Phase II at Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), Georgia. This project aims to address deficiencies in the stormwater drainage systems east of Taxiway 'J'. It is a 100% set-aside for small business contractors. The goal is to stabilize and improve drainage in the affected areas to prevent future erosion and standing water. Work Details The project involves comprehensive work necessary for repairing the stormwater drainage systems, including: - Regrading areas where slopes have failed or been disturbed from previous repairs. - Applying sod for stabilization. - Performing maintenance on identified basins III, IV, and V on the airfield. - Cleaning existing flumes, pipes, and swales to restore proper drainage patterns. - Installing new concrete flumes at various locations throughout the airfield to ensure positive drainage. Period of Performance 420 Calendar Days Place of Performance Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia Bidder Requirements Bidders must be registered with active status. Bid, payment, and performance bonds will be required. Contractors must meet small business size standards with a maximum size of $47 million. No foreign participation is allowed.
