Synopsis: NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Cadence Support Renewal for Fidelity Software. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS INC under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS INC is the sole provider of Cadence Support Renewal for Fidelity Software. NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC). The Government intends to acquire Choose an item.Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial The NAICS Code for this procurement is 513210. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 6/17/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Work Details The requirement is for the acquisition of the Correlated Solutions Digital Image System for NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC). The specific items to be acquired include: 1) VIC-3D Digital Image Correlation System, which consists of Vic-3D 11 with iris Digital Image Correlation Analysis Software, Vic-2D 7 with iris Digital Image Correlation Analysis Software (included at no additional cost), Vic-Snap LS Image Acquisition Software, one book titled 'Image Correlation for Shape, Motion and Deformation Measurements', and one post-processing license on USB dongle, along with a two-year warranty on all non-consumables; 2) VIC-3D System Hardware, which includes one Compact PC II with specifications of 4TB m.2 + 2 X 8TB SSD, 128GB RAM, running Windows 11, also with a two-year warranty on all non-consumables.
