Background The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island (MCRDPI) is responsible for training Marines and ensuring operational readiness. The goal of this contract is to conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostic services on range clearance vessels, motors, and trailers utilized by the Weapons and Field Training Battalion (WFTBN) to ensure they are properly maintained and serviceable for daily operations, particularly for live fire range clearance. Work Details The contractor will perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic services on all range clearance vessels, motors, and trailers. This includes: - Conducting routine scheduled maintenance by qualified mechanics to meet OEM specifications. - Providing all necessary tools and parts such as oil, lubricants, gaskets, filters, hoses, and miscellaneous hardware. - Ensuring all parts meet or exceed OEM specifications. - Using marine-grade stainless steel for hardware/fasteners. - Performing maintenance on-site during normal working hours (0730-1600 Monday - Friday excluding Federal Holidays). - Submitting completed maintenance checklists to WFTBn S-4 after each maintenance cycle. - Providing detailed reports on any repairs outside the contract scope within seven days of completion. - Estimating routine maintenance time not to exceed 2 hours per boat, motor, or trailer per month with a total not exceeding 10 hours for all assets. - Allowing MCRDPI to audit work performed. - Integrating new vessels into the contract as needed. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance Maintenance will primarily be conducted at the WFTBn boat warehouse, Building 798 at MCRDPI. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA) status. Vendors performing maintenance are subject to background checks for prior felonies and open warrants, as well as vehicle inspections. All mechanics must be qualified to meet OEM specifications.
