Background The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of Capability Trunk Cable. The goal of this contract is to purchase, deliver, and install specified cable products from authorized vendors within the local territory of Stennis Space Center, MS. Work Details The contractor is required to provide 13 continuous spools of Capability Trunk Cable, totaling 2860 feet. The specifications include: - Overall Construction: UL Style Rating: UL2464; Overall Shield: 34 AWG Tinned Copper (TC) Braid; Overall Jacket: PVC; Total of 64 Conductors, 20 AWG Tinned Copper. - Sub-Cable Layout: The cable consists of 8 separate sub-cables bundled together, each with a conductor gauge of 20 AWG made from tin plated copper (TC), insulated with 0.010 mils thick PVC. - Sub-Cable Wire Colors: Red, Brown, Yellow, Orange, Violet, Gray, Blue, Green. - Individual Shielding: Each sub-cable has its own protective layer consisting of a sub-shield made from 36 AWG Tinned Copper (TC) braid and a PVC jacket encasing each individual sub-cable. - Delivery must be included in the quote and is to be made to B4010 at Stennis Space Center MS 39529 within a delivery timeline of 2 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).
