The General Services Administration (GSA) is procuring General Construction Services for the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) Sheridan Building Renovation. The Sheridan Building is an occupied, eight-floor, 387,350 SF facility originally constructed in 1962. Period of Performance The Contractor shall commence performance within 1 day after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and achieve Substantial Completion of the Base Work no later than 655 calendar days from issuance of NTP. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate experience as a prime General Construction Contractor on three projects substantially completed within the past ten years. At least one project must fully meet similarity criteria. Bidders are required to provide references including names and contact information for project owners or contracting agencies. They must also submit proof of financial responsibility and capacity to perform the contract.
