Background The 97th Contracting Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is seeking to acquire a portable diesel-powered air compressor to support civil engineering and flight line maintenance activities. This equipment is crucial for powering pneumatic tools used in time-sensitive airfield damage repairs, ensuring continuous and safe flight operations and mission readiness. Work Details The contractor shall provide one (1) new, portable, diesel-powered air compressor system that meets or exceeds the following specifications: - Brand Name or Equal to Bobcat PA185KBT-ML-T2 with Military Super Standard options. - Performance: Air Delivery of 185 CFM (cubic feet per minute) and Operating Pressure of 100 psig (pounds per square inch gauge). - Engine: Tier 2 Diesel Engine (e.g., Kubota V2403M-DI-T or equal). - Portability: Mounted on a trailer with a standard axle and electric brakes, with a maximum towing speed of at least 65 mph. - Features & Accessories: Dual hose reels, each equipped with 100 feet of hose. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at Place of Performance F.O.B. Destination; Altus AFB, OK 73523 Bidder Requirements This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Prospective contractors must be registered prior to submission of quotes. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of one Portable Diesel-Powered Air Compressor. See attachment 1 - Statement of Need section 3.0 Specific Equipment Requirements, for the minimum salient characteristics. (Please note that the item must be of Brand Name or Equal requirement to Bobcat PA185KBT-ML-T2 with Military Super Standard options.) Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contacts by 25 June 2026 at 1100 CST (11:00AM CST). This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333912. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
