Summary: Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for levee repair services at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Bloomington, MN. The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the levee system to ensure effective flood control and environmental protection within the refuge. This project is critical for maintaining the integrity of the water control structures and overall ecosystem health. Work Details The contractor will perform various tasks including: - Embankment rehabilitation - Installation of riprap for water control structures - Removal of three corrugated metal pipe (CMP) water control structures - Potential replacement of reinforced concrete pipes and end pieces.
